Orsegups Successfully Issues Employee Identification Cards with FARGO® Technology

Orsegups, a Brazilian electronic security company with more than 7,000 employees, needed a faster, more secure way to issue employee ID cards. Its existing process suffered from slow printing, poor image quality, and the need for more durable credentials that could also support onsite access and secure identification at customer sites.

With support from Stockprint, HID Global implemented the HID® FARGO® HDP5000 card printer and encoder with retransfer technology. HID Global’s solution enabled single-step printing and encoding, improved card quality and durability, and added stronger security controls; Orsegups now issues about 1,100 cards per month while streamlining operations and meeting its security and quality requirements.
