MRHE, A Government Entity in Dubai Deploys HID Mobile Access and Seos Smart Cards to Modernize its Access Control System

Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE), a government entity in Dubai, sought to modernize its physical access control system. Their challenge was to upgrade to a more reliable and advanced solution that would allow employees to use a mix of smart cards, smartphones, and wearables for access, while also enhancing security and the employee experience. They selected HID Global to address these requirements with its access control solutions.

HID Global implemented a solution using Seos smart cards and HID Mobile Access, which integrated with the existing mobile-ready readers. This provided employees with the flexibility to use their preferred credential type, including using a smartphone with a "Twist and Go" gesture. The result was a highly positive employee response, increased security, and a convenient, user-friendly experience. MRHE also gained a cost-effective system with efficient credential management and is planning to expand its use for future applications like secure printing.
