Middle Eastern Government Department Selects HID Global’s FARGO Printers to Simplify Issuance of ID Cards

Middle Eastern Government Department needed a cost-effective, highly secure, and efficient way to issue large volumes of vehicle registration IDs, driver’s licenses, and resident/non-resident ID cards across multiple locations. HID Global deployed FARGO® DTC4500 and HDP8500 printer/encoders across 100 locations, and the rollout was completed in one month. The department now issues about 1 million vehicle registration IDs, 400,000 driver’s licenses, and 300,000 non-resident ID cards annually, with cards issued within an hour and improved customer service.
