A major Argentinian freight company, Cruz del Sur, needed to automate the documentation for fueling its 800+ trucks to eliminate human error, improve speed, and support a 24/7 operation. They worked with vendor HID Global and its partner Pump Control, utilizing the identiFUEL™ solution to meet these challenges which included retrofitting existing stations and accommodating various truck models.

HID Global's solution combined its robust identiFUEL™ RFID tags and wireless readers with Pump Control’s fleet management software. The results were highly successful; the system eliminated all paperwork, reducing truck station time to pure refueling and cutting waiting queues. All trucks and fueling stations were equipped, allowing for detailed automated reporting and a seamless transition for staff.
