Lipi Data Systems, working as a system integrator for the Indian government's RSBY health insurance program, faced the challenge of issuing millions of biometric smart cards to below-poverty-line families across geographically dispersed and remote locations. The nationwide scale required an extremely reliable, easy-to-use, and portable printer solution to handle massive on-the-spot card issuance without delays. The solution implemented by HID Global involved deploying over 1,000 of their compact and robust C30e printers.
