HID Drives Access Control Transformation at Corporativo Puerta Polanco

Corporativo Puerta Polanco, an 11-story AAA-class office building in Mexico City managed by Grupo Buró, needed a more efficient way to handle access control and tenant services for its 3,200 occupants. The site wanted to reduce long wait times at parking, elevator, and turnstile areas while improving security and real-time communication. HID Global helped address this with its HID Origo platform, HID Mobile Access, and multiCLASS SE readers.

HID Global implemented a fully digital access system using virtual credentials on smartphones, integrated with Johnson Controls’ C•CURE 9000 and the VTS Lane building management app. The result was faster visitor and resident access, simpler credential updates, instant tenant notifications for route changes, and mobile service requests tracked to resolution. The project also helped Puerta Polanco achieve LEED Platinum 2021 certification and strengthened its position as a smart building benchmark.
