Attica Group, a major Mediterranean ferry operator, sought HID Global's expertise to address challenges with its Seasmiles loyalty program. Their manual, paper-based application process was slow, insecure, and costly, leading to long waits for membership cards and a poor user experience for passengers.
In partnership with CubeIQ, HID Global implemented a solution using its FARGO DTC4500e printer and encoder within self-service kiosks. This allowed for the instant issuance of personalized membership cards onboard. The results were significant: within 180 days, registrations surged to over 15,000 with more than 40,000 cards personalized, boosting customer loyalty and eliminating postal costs while earning the program multiple industry awards.
