Claro Selects HID Mobile Access® Solution to Manage a More Secure and Convenient Access for All Its Employees

Claro, a multinational telecommunications provider, faced significant logistical challenges and high costs with its outdated access control system. The company struggled with the decentralized issuance and management of physical RFID credentials for its thousands of employees. To address this, Claro partnered with HID Global to find a more secure and efficient solution.

HID Global implemented its HID Mobile Access solution, utilizing HID Signo readers and the Origo platform to manage credentials. This allowed employees to use their smartphones for secure access, replacing physical cards. The results included centralized management, reduced costs, improved security traceability, and the elimination of issues from lost credentials. HID Global's solution was initially deployed across 50 access points and to 800 employees, optimizing Claro's access control system.
