Brazilian Coffee Grower Cooperative Implements HID® Global’s ID Card Printer to Improve Issuance of Identification Badges

a regional coffee grower cooperative in Brazil was experiencing persistent challenges with its ID badge issuance system. The cooperative, which has over 15,000 members, faced poor badge quality, high operational costs, and frequent printer breakdowns that slowed down secure access for employees and visitors. This unreliable system was costing the organization significant time and money. Acting on a recommendation from their systems integrator, they turned to HID Global for a solution.

HID Global implemented its FARGO DTC1250e ID card printer and encoder. The solution was quickly integrated, and the cooperative was immediately able to produce 50% more high-quality, secure badges in the same amount of time. Issuance problems were significantly reduced, with the printer reliably producing an average of 50 badges per week and as many as 208 in a single month. The measurable improvement in efficiency and reliability led the cooperative to plan for the addition of two more HID Global printers.
