Aventra Optimizes Personalized ID Card Issuance Offerings Thanks to HID FARGO Printers and Asure ID Software

Aventra, a Finland-based identity and access management company founded in 2004, needed to improve print quality, speed, and integration for its custom personalized ID card solutions. Before working with HID Global, the company struggled with slow, low-quality printing, difficult SDK integration, and reliance on outside suppliers to complete customer card programs.

HID Global implemented HID FARGO HDP5000 and HDP6600 printers, HID Asure ID card personalization software, OMNIKEY readers and encoders, and a compatible SDK. The result was a modernized end-to-end issuance offering with much faster development and production times, including the ability to print more than 200 cards per hour on the HDP6600. Aventra said work that used to take days can now be completed on demand, while supporting the creation and issuance of tens of thousands of cards annually.
