Why Auror chose Bob to streamline People Experience, from Auckland to Denver

Auror, a global retail-crime prevention software company based in Auckland with sites in Melbourne and Denver, needed a more modern and truly global HR platform than the clunky, spreadsheet-heavy HRIS processes it had used before. The People Experience team wanted something that could handle time zones properly, support local needs, and help them scale efficiently as the company grew. HiBob’s Bob platform fit the need, including Core HR, onboarding, and analytics.

With HiBob, Auror replaced spreadsheets and email chains with automated task lists and workflows, streamlined preboarding and onboarding, and configured flexible fields to support initiatives like a four-and-a-half-day workweek. Auror also used Bob’s People Analytics and KPI dashboards to measure DE&I goals, including tracking company demographics and survey feedback; women and non-binary employees now represent 54% of the company. The new setup saved time, improved employee experience, and gave Auror a scalable foundation for future people initiatives.
