A HH Global Case Study

Preview of the Global FMCG Company Case Study

Global FMCG brand resets its supply chain for a better world

The global FMCG company, a major consumer goods brand, faced the challenge of monitoring its complex upstream supply chain to meet its ambitious sustainability goals. With 60% of its emissions coming from this supply chain and Tier 3 suppliers proving difficult to track, it needed a partner to ensure responsible sourcing and reduce risk. It enlisted HH Global, a provider of sustainable marketing procurement and production services, for a solution.

HH Global addressed this by creating a clear sustainability roadmap and a supplier improvement strategy. They expanded the pool of accredited suppliers by leveraging data and identifying those with Sedex and EcoVadis certifications. They also developed new guidelines for responsible sourcing and a plan to increase the use of sustainable materials. The results were significant: in European markets, 78% of Print and POSM spend was with responsible suppliers, 61% of print materials were sustainable, and 74% of materials produced were non-plastic.
