Consec Security, an Australian security company that runs mobile patrols, needed to lock their Android patrol devices into work-only mode, ensure apps auto-updated, and track device locations. Hexnode MDM deployed a single-app kiosk policy that auto-launches a whitelisted app, enabled Play Store auto-updates while in kiosk, and provided real-time location mapping with downloadable histories; devices were enrolled quickly and required minimal support. As a result, Consec Security now enforces strict work-only use, prevents employees from exiting kiosk mode, keeps apps current automatically, and can track patrol devices at any time, with Hexnode MDM addressing issues rapidly.
