Monaghan County Council, which manages a wide portfolio of land and buildings for a population of more than 61,000, faced inefficiencies and error-prone workflows from relying on paper files and spreadsheets. To modernize and share its asset information, the council engaged Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial Division (via longtime partner IMGS) to deploy Asset Register, a lightweight, map-based asset management solution built on Hexagon’s M.App Enterprise.

IMGS implemented Asset Register using Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial Division technology and Safe Software’s FME ETL for dynamic reporting, delivering a single, real-time view of all property assets. The system enables configurable map-based workflows, faster and more accurate decision-making, improved governance and collaboration, and reduced manual work — with staff able to access, examine and update assets in real time and generate detailed reports for individual properties or the entire portfolio.
