Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial Division delivered a database-centric GIS that enforces business rules, data validation and network connectivity at the database level, serving as the authoritative system of record and supplying source data to GE ADMS and SAP. The solution modeled networks with more than 44 million access points without performance loss, enabled daily merging of as-built and as-operated models for corrective actions, centralized interface control and materially improved data quality and employee confidence.
