Technische Hochschule Deggendorf's student group, Team Fast Forest, was faced with the challenge of designing a competitive, cost-effective electric vehicle for the Formula Student competition. They required advanced simulation tools to effectively develop their car's chassis and analyze complex tire behavior and road profiles. The team turned to vendor Hexagon, utilizing its MSC Adams multi-body simulation software to meet these engineering demands.

Hexagon's solution provided the team with the capability to quickly simulate their mechanical systems under realistic conditions, saving them significant time and money in the development process. By using Adams to perfect their chassis design and analyze physical interactions, the team was able to build a reliable electric vehicle. This technical advantage contributed to their success, including a previous achievement of placing 9th at the Hockenheimring, and positioned them to compete among the top teams in international events.
