Severstal-proekt Becomes The First Steel Industry Customer Of Hexagon Ppm Technologies In Russia

Severstal-proekt, the general designer for the steel producer Severstal, faced the challenge of modernizing a gas cleaning unit to meet strict international emissions standards. The project required extensive training, integrating different design systems, and creating an accurate 'as-built' model. To meet these goals, they partnered with Hexagon and implemented its solutions, including Intergraph Smart 3D.

Hexagon provided the technology and expertise to successfully execute the project. Their solution enabled the team to integrate existing designs, train over 20 employees, and prepare extensive equipment catalogues. This allowed Severstal-proekt to complete the modernization project in just eight months, simultaneously with construction, and achieve the target of reducing dust emissions to no more than 10mg/nm3.
