BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, a leading home appliance manufacturer, needed a high-quality metrology solution to support its new production facility in Wrocław. To ensure precise measurement of components and final products, they partnered with vendor Hexagon for their global expertise and wide sensor portfolio.
The solution implemented by Hexagon included coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) equipped with a variety of sensors, including a laser scanner for flexible measurement of various components. Hexagon’s PC-DMIS software and Q-DAS statistical analysis platform were also deployed. This provided instant data access across departments, eliminated paper reports, and delivered the accurate measurement data needed to keep production processes and product quality under control.
