SEAT Group, a major automotive manufacturer and member of the Volkswagen Group, sought to ensure high-quality standards and process control across its vehicle production and prototyping facilities. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Hexagon to implement a range of quality analysis solutions.

Hexagon provided a comprehensive suite of measurement systems including the ROMER Absolute Arm, Leica Absolute Tracker, and WLS400M white light inspection system. These tools were deployed for tasks from part qualification to 100% inline inspection, supporting quality assurance in body shops and assembly lines. The solutions enabled quick and accurate inspection, which contributed to the analysis of fit and finish conditions during the company's production ramp-up.
