RTD Manufacturing, a machine shop based in Michigan, faced the critical challenge of needing to pivot its production to survive the manufacturing shutdowns at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The family-run company, which serves diverse industries including aerospace and medical, needed to leverage its existing flexibility to quickly begin producing personal protective equipment like face masks and shields.
