Ray AG - Customer Case Study

The customer, Ray AG, a Swiss precision manufacturing and contracting company, faced significant challenges with their previous machine tool probes, which were expensive to maintain, prone to leaks, and increasingly unreliable. Forced to find a new supplier after their original vendor refused repairs, they turned to Hexagon and its m&h division for a more robust probing solution.

Hexagon implemented its m&h infrared probes, specifically the IRP25.50 model with HDR+ transmission technology. The solution provided leak-proof performance with standard batteries, eliminating the high costs and downtime associated with the previous system. The probes have required no repairs since the first installation in 2007, ensuring long-term reliability and precision for Ray AG's manufacturing processes, which resulted in considerable cost savings and operational improvements.
