ODYSSEE CAE helps Satven reduce the time required for trimmed body NVH simulations and optimization from multiple days to a few minutes

Satven, a global automotive engineering solutions provider, aimed to leverage AI and ML to offer superior services and a competitive advantage to its customers. Their challenge was the extensive time required for traditional trimmed body Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) simulations and optimization, which limited their ability to explore design iterations efficiently.

Using Hexagon's ODYSSEE CAE software, Satven implemented a solution based on machine learning and reduced order modeling (ROM). This approach replaced lengthy CAE simulations, reducing the time for a single analysis from hours to seconds. The results showed a 91-96% correlation with traditional methods and enabled optimization tasks that previously took days to be completed in minutes. Hexagon's technology allowed Satven to rapidly identify sensitive parameters and run a vast number of design iterations, leading to faster, better-informed decisions in vehicle development.
