NCSIMUL assures accuracy of brothers’ machining code generator

EVAFLO, a specialized subcontractor of mechanical parts, faced a challenge with the time-consuming manual verification of G-code for their CNC machines used in machining hydraulic blocks. To address this, they turned to Hexagon and implemented its NCSIMUL Machine simulation module for toolpath verification.

The solution from Hexagon created a complete digital chain, integrating NCSIMUL Machine with the NCSIMUL Tool management module. This combination eliminated programming errors and potential collisions by simulating code in a digital twin of their machine tools. The implementation reduced the time taken for code checking by a factor of three, optimized tool management for their 1,200 tools, and allowed for the simulation of individual kinematics, significantly boosting overall productivity.
