By implementing Hexagon's CAESAR II, the team performed accurate stress analyses, which eliminated the need for a proposed expansion joint and incorrect spring settings, saving the client millions of rupees. The software’s integrated Isogen module also allowed for rapid responses to design changes. Furthermore, Hexagon’s solution provided definitive data that won technical disputes with a turbine vendor, proving the piping design was sound and ultimately identifying a separate mechanical issue as the root cause of a problem.
