AFDL, a small sheet metal subcontractor, faced challenges managing its growing operations using Excel files and manual processes for quoting, production scheduling, and invoicing. Needing to streamline its workflow to handle up to 50 orders a day, the company turned to vendor Hexagon for an integrated software solution.

Hexagon implemented its WORKPLAN job management and Radquote software, which integrated seamlessly with AFDL's existing RADAN CAD/CAM system. This solution automated quoting, order processing, and delivery note generation, eliminating errors and manual data re-entry. The results allowed AFDL to become completely autonomous, respond to quotes more accurately and faster, and readily adapt to urgent customer demands, successfully managing a significant increase in business.
