innoVision Engineering use Concept and RomaxDESIGNER to achieve Right First Time designs and reduce development time and costs

innoVision Engineering, a Germany-based consultancy specializing in drivetrain development, faced the challenge of optimizing transmission designs to meet specific targets while reducing development time and streamlining their processes. To address this, they turned to vendor Hexagon and implemented a solution using the Romax Concept and RomaxDESIGNER (now Romax Enduro) software packages.

Hexagon's solution involved a three-stage process. It began with innoVision's own Optimizer tool to generate concepts, followed by Romax Concept for initial 3D design and performance prediction, and culminated in RomaxDESIGNER for detailed optimization. This approach allowed innoVision to efficiently narrow 126 design options down to a single, optimized solution. The results included a significantly shortened development time, reduced costs, and increased productivity, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction.
