The Huntsville-Madison County 911 Center (HMC 911) needed to modernize its emergency dispatch operations to serve a growing population and utilize evolving technology. The public safety agency partnered with Hexagon to implement its industry-leading computer-aided dispatch (CAD) solution, becoming Hexagon's first multi-agency customer.

Hexagon’s CAD solution provided a common operating picture for intelligent response by automating key functions and integrating real-time information from various sources. This technology enables HMC 911 to support eight different public safety agencies, ensure rapid emergency response, and harness new technologies like text-to-911. The center is now the largest and most advanced in Alabama, with staff crediting Hexagon for helping them save lives and improve the quality of life in their community.
