Dormeson SA, a real estate development company in Peru, faced the challenge of digitally transforming the operations and maintenance of its large Plaza Santa Catalina shopping centre to improve efficiency, transparency, and the visitor experience. They partnered with Hexagon, utilizing its Leica Geosystems reality capture technology, to create a comprehensive digital record of the complex facility.

The solution involved Hexagon capturing 11,000 square metres of data to create a precise 3D digital twin of the shopping centre. This model was integrated with a facilities management system, centralizing all operational data and enabling remote management. The results for Dormeson included significantly increased transparency and efficiency for operations and maintenance, a reduction in system breakdowns, and an improved customer experience.
