Schiebel Aircraft GmbH, the manufacturer of the CAMCOPTER® S-100 Unmanned Air System, faced a critical operational challenge when its UAS was rendered ineffective by intentional GPS jamming over a conflict zone. Hexagon provided its GPS Anti-Jam Technology (GAJT), an off-the-shelf system that was rapidly delivered and integrated by Schiebel. The GAJT product electronically nullifies jamming signals, allowing the GPS receiver to continue functioning. This solution enabled Schiebel to quickly re-deploy its CAMCOPTER S-100 within a minimal timeframe, successfully returning the aircraft to its critical missions in a GPS-denied environment.
