A Hexagon Case Study

Hexagon partner IMGS allows Monaghan County Council to develop and leverage highly productive, map-based asset management workflows

Monaghan County Council, a local government agency in Ireland, faced the challenge of inefficiently managing its extensive property and land assets using outdated paper files and spreadsheets. This process was prone to errors and hindered information sharing. To improve data accuracy and streamline operations, the council engaged vendor Hexagon, through its partner IMGS, to implement a map-based asset management solution based on Hexagon’s M.App Enterprise.

The solution, called Asset Register, provided a single, modern view of the entire property portfolio. It enabled highly productive, map-based workflows for creating, editing, and managing assets, freeing staff from non-essential tasks. Leveraging geospatial business intelligence dashboards and a dynamic reporting engine, Hexagon's solution turned data into actionable information for faster, more effective decision-making. This enhanced overall collaboration, data sharing, and governance of the council's asset portfolio.
