HCR ManorCare, a major U.S. provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation care with over 500 locations, faced the challenge of installing 3,500 point-of-care computer kiosks across 282 facilities. Their goal was to enable nurses to document treatments immediately after delivery to improve care quality and profitability. The 18-month project required hardware selection, complex installation adhering to strict regulations, and ongoing support. To meet this challenge, HCR ManorCare partnered with vendor Hexagon.

Hexagon provided a complete solution, including its innovative wall-mounted kiosks, full project management, installation, and warranty services. The implementation was completed on time and within budget. As a result, HCR ManorCare achieved a significant gain in average revenue without a major increase in monthly costs, streamlining processes and advancing their goal of a complete electronic medical record system.
