HANSA-FLEX - Customer Case Study

HANSA-FLEX, a global hydraulics expert, needed to bring its tube production in-house at its Netherlands site to meet customer demands for fast delivery. The challenge was finding a way to accurately inspect the finished tubes prior to shipment. Hexagon provided its Tube Inspection System, consisting of a ROMER Absolute Arm and TubeShaper software, to meet this need.

The portable and easy-to-use solution from Hexagon allowed HANSA-FLEX to inspect its tube production. This resulted in the ability to reverse engineer tubes and offer on-site measurements to clients. The implementation drastically reduced scrap; a task that once required up to 20 adjustments now achieves a perfect fit immediately, leading to huge cost savings in materials and manpower for HANSA-FLEX.
