Grand Ducal Police upgrade CAD capabilities to better serve the public

The Grand Ducal Police, responsible for public safety in Luxembourg, required a modern computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system to replace its self-developed software. Their challenge was to enhance incident management with improved GIS, better call-taking integration, and dedicated vendor support backed by a service level agreement. To meet these needs, the police force selected the CAD solution from vendor Hexagon.

Hexagon implemented its CAD system, which integrated with the police's external systems and the SMS113 application for text-based emergency reporting. This provided officers with critical real-time data during responses and ensured incidents were monitored until resolution. The solution included a comprehensive SLA for ongoing support and future development.
