Hexagon's solution used a portable Absolute Arm with non-contact probes to measure malleable wires shaped within test vehicles, with data automatically fed to CNC bending machines via the intuitive TubeShaper software. This process eliminated the need for multiple bending attempts, saving Daimler AG significant time and material while ensuring maximum precision for prototypes. The harmonized hardware and software package from Hexagon provided an all-round solution that met the team's stringent requirements for productivity and accuracy.
