Easily create a digital twin with a scan-to-plan workflow

Jan-André Meyer Architects was tasked with creating a digital twin of two new, large-scale facilities for Vorwerk Wupper Süd. The architectural firm needed an efficient method to capture over 40,000 square meters of interior and exterior space to generate accurate 2D and 3D deliverables in a short amount of time.

Using a scan-to-plan workflow from Hexagon with the BLK2GO and BLK2FLY imaging lasers, a team of only two people captured the entire site in just five hours. Hexagon's technology, including Cyclone Register 360 software, processed the data to create detailed floorplans and a 3D model in two and a half weeks. This digital twin provides Vorwerk with a precise basis for all future planning, eliminating the need for contractors to visit the site and saving significant time and money on upcoming projects.
