Chiyoda Corporation, a global engineering company, needed to optimize its construction labor management processes to reduce costs and better understand its global site operations. Its existing Field Labor Access Control System (FLACS) struggled to effectively visualize and analyze large volumes of IoT data from employee devices using standard tools, which were cumbersome and difficult to maintain.

To address this, Chiyoda implemented the M.App Enterprise platform from Hexagon. This solution visualizes and analyzes all construction and employee data in a single map-based dashboard, providing managers with enhanced awareness of on-site operations and supporting personnel safety. This streamlined approach allows for easy analysis of workforce mobilization and project status without requiring extensive GIS knowledge. Due to the operational efficiencies gained, Chiyoda plans to sell the FLACS solution to other engineering and construction providers.
