Cenibra improves quality through smart monitoring of operations

CENIBRA, a Brazilian forest-based company, sought to optimize its forestry operations and remain competitive by gaining greater control over its processes and resources. To meet this challenge, CENIBRA partnered with Hexagon to implement a technological solution, selecting the vendor for its experience and existing relationship in the forestry sector.

Hexagon implemented its HxGN AgrOn platform and machine control solutions, which provided monitoring and control of input applications like fertiliser, as well as management support tools. This partnership resulted in a significant reduction of application anomalies and a major expansion in operational scale; between 2017 and 2018, the worked area grew over 530% and input usage grew nearly 500%. Hexagon's solution provided CENIBRA with precise, georeferenced data, leading to more homogeneous application of inputs, improved decision-making, and a greater overall quality of operations.
