Changan Automobile, a major Chinese automotive manufacturer, faced significant pressure to reduce its vehicle development cycle to just 24 months. A key bottleneck was its CAE validation process, which consumed a large portion of this cycle. The CAE department needed to drastically improve both its operational and management efficiency. To address this, Changan partnered with vendor Hexagon's MSC Software to implement a solution.

Hexagon, through its SimManager product, implemented an Automatic Simulation Platform (ASP) combining B/S and C/S structures. This platform automated workflows, managed tasks, and centralized scattered CAE data. The core of the solution was the development of over 300 automation scripts for simulation tasks. This implementation resulted in a 30% reduction in CAE validation time, dramatically accelerating Changan's overall vehicle development cycle and meeting its stringent efficiency goals.
