A Hexagon Case Study

Preview of the AUSA Case Study

AUSA - Customer Case Study

AUSA, a major manufacturer of dumpers, forklifts, and concrete mixers, faced a challenge with its outdated, slow measurement process for machine parts. The company needed a faster, more flexible, and cost-effective inspection tool to keep up with its expanded product lines and increased production demands. To solve this, they turned to vendor Hexagon.

Hexagon implemented its ROMER portable measuring arm with G-Pad software, which provided rapid, precise inspections and specialized capabilities for measuring tubes. This solution allowed AUSA to perform high-quality controls on parts from suppliers and generate detailed graphic reports. The results were so positive that AUSA reported the tool works perfectly and is already considering purchasing a second ROMER arm to further increase flexibility and output.
