Zhejiang Titan Completes Xiamen Omic Bio-Science Flavor Manufacturing Facility Ahead of Schedule and Under Budget Using CADWorx

Zhejiang Titan Design & Engineering Co., Ltd., a China-based EPC firm serving petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, gas processing, and storage industries, was selected to design Xiamen Omic Bio-science Co. Ltd.’s large Natural Functions Chemistry project. The project posed significant challenges, including a highly constrained layout, more than 6,000 pipes, and a need to deliver thousands of drawings quickly and accurately. Zhejiang Titan used Hexagon PPM’s CADWorx Plant Professional to manage the complex 3D design work.

With Hexagon PPM’s CADWorx, Zhejiang Titan collaborated on engineering analysis throughout the design process to identify clashes and potential errors early, improving data quality and streamlining the design flow. The project was completed a month ahead of schedule and 3% under budget, saving an estimated 5 million RMB, along with 300 man-hours, while also improving procurement and construction efficiency.
