Welcron Hantec Uses Cadworx Solutions To Deliver Pilot Biomass Plant

Welcron Hantec, a Korean plant EPC engineering and manufacturing company, needed to deliver a pilot biomass plant on an extremely compressed schedule: all design deliverables had to be completed within three months instead of five, and the initial documentation phase had to be finished in just one week. The company turned to Hexagon PPM’s CADWorx solutions, including CADWorx Plant Professional and CADWorx P&ID Professional, to help meet the deadline.

Hexagon PPM implemented CADWorx to automate 3D plant design and create intelligent P&IDs with synchronized databases. As a result, Welcron Hantec cut major work packages dramatically, producing isometrics and related drawings in two days instead of eight weeks, generating BOMs faster and with fewer errors, and saving at least half a day per P&ID page. Overall, Hexagon PPM helped Welcron Hantec reduce the project schedule by two months and minimize manual checking and duplicated work.
