The engineering contractor successfully creates process deliverables in very tight time schedule

Ludan Engineering, a multidisciplinary engineering organization based in Israel, needed to deliver process documentation for a wastewater treatment plant project in Russia under a very tight schedule. With multiple advisory and design teams contributing from around the world, the company needed a highly flexible, customizable tool to manage bilingual deliverables and align with the client’s detailed numbering, tagging, and drawing requirements. Ludan Engineering used Hexagon PPM’s CADWorx P&ID Professional.

Hexagon PPM implemented CADWorx P&ID Professional to streamline document customization, integrate project data through a bi-directional database, and automate the creation of PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and equipment lists. The solution helped Ludan Engineering achieve major time savings, including up to 90% reduction in instrument and equipment data filling for complex projects and about 50% time savings for AutoCAD novice users. The company has already used the tool in nine projects and plans to standardize it further across its growing portfolio.
