Rishabh Engineering Services, a U.S.-based oil and gas engineering firm, needed to perform stress analyses for a complex refinery piping system in Billings, Montana. The project involved eight heaters, high temperatures and pressures, 32 load cases, strict international standards, limited resources, and only non-editable drawings to work from. Rishabh Engineering Services used Hexagon PPM’s CAESAR II and CADWorx to handle the piping analysis and modeling challenges.

With Hexagon PPM’s CAESAR II, Rishabh Engineering Services imported CADWorx models without data loss, applied international piping codes, and resolved multiple design issues such as thermal movement, compact piping routing, and support lift-off checks. The team generated accurate reports and isometric drawings, saved 200 man-hours, and improved productivity enough to meet tight deadlines while delivering a more comprehensive analysis.
