Litwin, a French EPC engineering company serving the oil and gas, chemical, energy, and environmental sectors, needed to improve productivity and streamline workflows as it managed larger CAPEX projects under tight budgets and schedules. To address these challenges, Litwin turned to Hexagon PPM and implemented Intergraph Smart® 3D, along with related Smart P&ID and Smart Instrumentation capabilities, to support better discipline integration, data consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Hexagon PPM deployed Smart 3D on a live project, enabling concurrent multidisciplinary 3D modeling for civil, structural, piping, equipment, and cable tray work. The result was faster, higher-quality drawing production and better project coordination, with Litwin reporting a 30% time savings in piping drawing production compared with its first project. The company also gained a more integrated engineering environment and the ability to generate deliverables earlier in the process.
