Gazprom neftechim salavat creates a 3D Production model with the help of hexagon ppm Technologies

Gazprom Neftechim Salavat Design Institute, a subsidiary of JSC “Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat” in Russia, needed to create a comprehensive 3D model of its production process under tight timelines. Working with Hexagon PPM and products including Intergraph Smart® 3D, Smart Review, and Smart Interop Publisher, the institute also had to identify clashes, generate reports, and support emergency simulation development while overcoming limited legacy data and documentation challenges.

Hexagon PPM helped implement Smart 3D across multiple design disciplines, with Bureau ESG supporting training, data migration, and system setup. In less than two years, the team formed a six-person expert group, trained 20 employees, migrated data from Tekla Structures, PDMS, and other Smart 3D models, and produced key outputs such as P&ID drawings, bills of materials, pipe catalogues, isometrics, and progress charts. The result was improved design quality, better data exchange, and early customer access to 3D models in Smart Review, reducing construction-stage risk.
