Erdman Anthony, a multidisciplinary infrastructure engineering firm in New York, supported Eastman Kodak’s Footprint Reduction Program, a complex three-year project involving demolitions, relocations, over 200 buildings, extensive piping modifications, and the need to coordinate shutdowns without interrupting operations. To manage the complexity and improve collaboration, the company turned to Hexagon PPM’s CADWorx Plant, CADWorx Steel, and CAESAR II.

With Hexagon PPM’s tools, Erdman Anthony was able to share data more easily between design and analysis teams, reduce rework, and improve cost control through better estimates and early material ordering. The software helped identify a 50% error in the estimate for 24-inch chilled water piping, supported stress analysis and 3D visualization, and enabled clearer communication of detailed BIM-based fabrication information across the project team.
