Black Cat Engineering & Construction, a Qatar-based oil and gas contractor, needed to deliver a complex ammonia recovery and flare system project for QAFCO under a tight three-month schedule. With half the piping work needing to be completed during a plant shutdown, the company faced a demanding requirement for highly accurate engineering deliverables and precise fit-up, using Hexagon PPM products including CADWorx Plant Professional, CAESAR II, and PV Elite.

Hexagon PPM helped Black Cat Engineering & Construction use CADWorx for accurate 3D visualization and automated deliverables, while CAESAR II and PV Elite supported piping and vessel stress analysis.
