Workrise, a workforce management company for the energy industry, needed a better way to support its Data Enablement team and analysts as ad hoc projects and apps multiplied across the organization. Analysts were split between SQL and Python, used different tools, and had to move work into separate visualization software, creating too much friction for collaboration, data access, and sharing insights.

Workrise selected Hex, a cloud-native collaborative notebook platform with SQL, Python, and no-code visualizations, to consolidate analytics in one place. With Hex, the team could connect directly to Snowflake, build and visualize analyses in a single workflow, and share interactive dashboards with stakeholders; as a result, Workrise moved from many tools down to one, with over 50 users creating analyses in Hex, faster analytics cycles, less tool fatigue, and a more secure data environment.
