Doximity, the healthcare networking and services platform, used Jupyter Notebooks as its main analytics tool but ran into collaboration and accessibility issues for SQL-first team members. Many users struggled to set up notebooks or share findings, and presenting results often required screenshots instead of direct sharing.

Hex, paired with Snowflake, gave Doximity a cloud-hosted notebook and dashboard solution for both SQL and Python users, with secure sharing and built-in collaboration. As a result, Doximity completely moved off Jupyter Notebooks, enabled more than 60 people to ask and answer questions with data, and built over 1,000 projects on Hex that help turn ad hoc analysis into reusable dashboards and apps.
