Wiltshire Service Users’ Network launches an accessible Autism Hub with HeX Productions

The Wiltshire Service Users’ Network (WSUN), a user-led health and social services organization, required a new Autism Hub website that was accessible and easy to navigate for autistic individuals, their families, and carers. They partnered with HeX Productions, who used WordPress to address challenges including mobile-friendliness, WCAG compliance, and an outdated main website that was difficult for staff to update.

HeX Productions implemented a co-produced solution, working closely with an autistic user group to streamline the design and user journey. The result was a highly accessible Autism Hub featuring intuitive navigation, an advanced search facility, and summary boxes to reduce cognitive load. HeX also updated WSUN's main website for free, ensuring all users could easily access vital support resources and empowering WSUN staff with content editor training for long-term maintenance.
